Every loaf contributes to change. This is what is known as a circular economy – and it is quite literally baked into every Diversity Bread. It is why we love this. It is an absolute redesign not marketing, not for show, and it has been slowly building and changing the way we understand bread for decades .. this isn’t just an architectural change to bread but an empowerment system – helping the farmers, millers and bakers because it is self funding change to support humans and the planet.
“System Change” can sound like an aspiration. This isn’t. The system is already operating and you can find Diversity Bread stockists here This isn’t an idea for how bread might change. It’s already happening.

Diversity Bread® is designed as a circular system, so the change doesn’t end when you buy the bread. Every Diversity Bread® you buy is part of a circular system. Agricultural diversity becomes Diversity Flour®, which becomes bread, which becomes part of your diet. The value created by that bread then helps fund education, training more people to bake and share this different model. The circle begins again.
The Sourdough School Educational Awards, helping fund training for bakers and healthcare professionals who might otherwise be unable to access it. They learn how to bake, understand and share this different approach to bread – taking that knowledge back into bakeries, healthcare and their communities.
So your loaf helps create the conditions for the next loaf, and the next baker, and the next person who learns why bread can be made differently.
Everyone is simultaneously benefiting from and contributing to the system.
That is what we mean by circular system change: part of the value created by the bread is fed back into the education needed to change bread itself.
